And it works, only the LED connection was on the extra pin used by the 20MHz-version of this design. Corrected in software, already.<\/p>\n<p>See the <a title=\"Atmel atmega328 used as AD-Converter for Raspberry Pi\" href=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/wordpress\/?p=209\">adc-board post<\/a>, the <a title=\"Capacitive Sensor for Scratch\" href=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/wordpress\/?p=192\">capacitive sensor post<\/a> for application details. The basic design is for a breadboard, but I wanted to have a portable package for this.<\/p>\n<p>Schematic is <a title=\"Schema, pdf\" href=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/administration\/pi\/program_328\/board\/328-small.pdf\">here<\/a>, the eagle schematic and board files are in the <a title=\"DiesUndDas\" href=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/administration\/pi\/program_328\/download\/program_328.tar.gz\">software package<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To get the board running with scratch, you need my <a title=\"scratchClient Download\" href=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/wordpress\/?page_id=6\">scratchClient software<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Functionality are &#8211; with the firmware &#8211; 2 adc channels, frequency counter, impulse counter and infrared control. The two rotary encoders are prepared, but not yet coded.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/board.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-257\" src=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/board.jpg\" alt=\"board\" width=\"608\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The board uses 1206-size SMD components, just the size you can solder without a microscope.<\/p>\n<p>JP1 is usually open, and connects GPIO4 to clock input. See flashing instructions.<\/p>\n<p>SV1 is to the RPi<\/p>\n<p>SV2 is ADC input. 1 = GND, 2 = GND, 3 = ADC0, 4 = ADC1, 5 = VCC, 6 = VCC<\/p>\n<p>SV3 is usually open. It allows to connect RX, TX with those of RPi. It is aligned to allow to connect with two jumpers. I used this mainly for debugging purposes.<\/p>\n<p>SV4 is the frequency measurement input. 1 = GND, 2 = input, 3 = VCC<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/board.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-258\" src=\"http:\/\/heppg.de\/ikg\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/board.png\" alt=\"board\" width=\"868\" height=\"486\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This project is no kickstarter, and I do not sell this pcb.<\/p>\n<p>So setup the parts on a breadboard, and if you like it find one of the reasonable cheap, long delivery time vendors in the world and build your own copy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0 boards for the Atmel-328 based ADC board are here.
